I used to live on Achill and have many wonderful memories of its spectacular scenery.
My son & I visited friends last August who live in Dooagh. The Dooagh painting and the Keem paintings inspiration were taken 24hrs apart, an overcast, drizzly day ( but beautiful for walking) on the Friday and an el scorchio day on the Saturday.
Even though the ghonerra plant is a bit of a pest 😅 I quite like it's giant leaves...
