Painting Workshop with Lani

 Acrylic Painting Workshop 

Who is this for: No prior experience is necessary to join the Workshop or  if you have painted before and want to pick up some tips

Date: March 6th 2025

Time: 10.30am – 4pm

Age: The attendee must be over 18.

Maximum no of persons: 8

Materials: All materials are supplied by me.
You take home your paintings (but not the materials supplied to create them.)

Cancellations: You must be able to attend the workshop booked as there will be no refunds or moving between future workshops.

Location: Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo. F91XW7Y

Refreshments: Tea or coffee will be available. Of course you can bring a packed lunch with you or there is also the option of Waves bar.

What will the day look like...

First of all, this will be a fun & relaxed space. I want each participant to learn while enjoying to paint & to leave with the confidence to continue on painting or use what you have learned in your own painting practice 

 The day will start with an introductory look at: value, colour, colour mixing  and composition. We will then use these to create some small studies. 

You will work in an individual way but I will advise and help you find your own style

Followed by a demonstration  of a coastal landscape subject. This will be followed by painting a coastal scene from the same reference where one-on-one advice will be given.

What you need to bring :

• Clothes you don't mind  getting paint on.
• An apron is great too
• Packed lunch
• Drinking water
