I used o live on Achill and have many wonderful memories of its spectacular scenery.
My son & I visited friends last August who live in Dooagh. The Dooagh painting and the Keem paintings inspiration were taken 24hrs apart, an overcast, drizzly day ( but beautiful for walking) on the Friday and an el scorchio day on the Saturday. A yacht with a family was perfectly placed ...if you scroll down my Instagram pics you'll see a photo of it.
